Netzhi TRAMP Path Worksheet

Description

A self-contained browser worksheet for composing ordinary Emacs TRAMP remote-file paths. It combines SSH or PuTTY Plink, an optional username and port, a host/SSH alias, and an absolute Unix path. Input validation explains invalid ports and unsupported syntax before showing a path. A four-stage checklist separates terminal login, remote directory access, interactive shell startup, and configuration troubleshooting.

The HTML, CSS and JavaScript were created with Codex. Input processing happens locally; the worksheet does not open an SSH connection or collect passwords. It is a companion resource from Netzhi, a Chinese-language practical software tutorial blog. The live demo is hosted on Pagepod.

Read the associated Windows Emacs and TRAMP troubleshooting guide for environment-specific diagnosis. Full filename syntax is documented in the GNU TRAMP manual.

Scope: ordinary hostnames/IPv4/SSH aliases, SSH and Plink, absolute Unix paths. IPv6 and multi-hop paths are outside this simplified worksheet.
