Description
A bigger TV does not always look bigger from your seat. DisplayMath is a free visual calculator for comparing TVs and monitors by physical size, viewing distance, field of view and pixel density.
It started with a question: how would BFI IMAX look from a cinema seat compared with a living-room TV from the couch? The linked demo compares a 77-inch LG OLED at 3 metres with BFI IMAX row F.
Move the distance sliders to see how much of your view each screen fills. Compare flat and curved displays, check wall placement, calculate a suitable TV size and mounting height, and preview a screen on your wall in AR on supported iPhones and iPads.
Share a comparison with its displays and viewing distances already set. The calculators are free and work in the browser without signup.
Built over two months with Claude Code and Codex, with an estimated 95% of the code generated by AI.
